Chris Butler

Bio

Chris Butler is looking for opportunities in evangelism and product management positions for location aware and mobile platforms.

Previously, as Dash's Content Platform Evangelist, Chris Butler oversaw the company's open platform initiative and encourages the creation of new location-based services both from third party developers and Dash's active customer community. Chris launched Dash's Dynamic Search API, the first connected platform for the car, in May 2008 and has already grown the number of DashApps to over 50. Prior to Dash, Chris worked for Microsoft at the company's Silicon Valley Campus for over seven years. During his tenure, he worked on projects including Calendar, Hotmail, Toolbar, Desktop Search, the Vista Sidebar gadget platform and Windows Live Gallery. He holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University.
