Alex Linde

Bio

Alex Linde, Director of Product Management, MDS, is responsible for Yahoo! Mobile's widget platform and Blueprint initiative. He draws on his background leading mobile product initiatives delivering next generation content and messaging with a particular focus on mobile browsers and widgetized content.

Linde is a technical innovator with an extensive engineering background and experience leading teams into new business areas with a track record for developing viable products. Linde is the creator of Joemoby, a project that produced the first standards-compliant mobile widget engine.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Linde was VP of Applications at Colibria AS, where he opened the UK office and headed an engineering team that built concepts around next-generation mobile applications.
